How's it going neighbors This is Ed here, with etrailer.com, taking a look at the Curt Folding Cargo Carrier on our 2023 Jeep Wagoner L. Alright, and the Curt Carrier is a folding carrier that gives you a pretty decent size for adding additional space. Let's see, on the inside capacity, we come up to a little bit shy of 19 inches, and as far as the length, we're about 57 and a half, as far as that usable space. From here, the depth from the bottom to the top, is right at six inches. That is gonna give you about 12 inches of space to load upward and still open the hatch with this particular carrier. Also, it'll be about 13 inches as far as the height of your load in the back of your basket, to block your rear view camera and your license plate and a portion of your tail lights. more

Hi Matt with eTrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Yakima EXO Swing Away System on our 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L. Now this's gonna be a great way to get some extra storage out of the back of the Wagoneer. Now we do have a lot of storage back here, but if you plan on taking a longer trip, you have a lot of gear, or have a lot of people with you, you might need a little bit of extra storage. Now let's take a closer look at that swing away feature, since it is one of the biggest features about this. How we're gonna do that is just by twisting this wing nut, and once we loosen this up, we'll be able to pull this pin right next to it, just pulling along like that and then pushing out. And you'll be able to see how far it swings out. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here, taking a look at our Flint Hill Goods 60 by 22 Aluminum Cargo Carrier on the back of the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L. As far as the aluminum construction, it's gonna give you solid post on the top to tie down from. The bottom is open. If you had smaller fine items, there are other carriers that have a mesh, but in general, it works out fine. All right, and I already checked out that the measurement, if you can stack up to 12 inches from the top of your carrier and still clear the back of your hatch. If you have your seats in the upright position, that's gonna kind of limit your cargo area 'cause it's a lot of space in the Wagoneer L. more

How's it going This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier on the back of the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So why would you need this type of cargo carrier Well, my time in customer service, I usually recommend this type of carrier, or this one specifically to people who are primarily carrying wheelchairs due to the ramp. However, it does come in handy for other applications 'cause you can, the ramp can support that full 500 pounds as well, so you'd be able to roll on heavier items, but you can also use it for like your bulkier items that take up a lot of space in your cargo area in your Grand Cherokee. All right, so let's actually get a measurement of the usable space with the ramp in the upright position. So as far as that getting around the post, it's right at 27 and a half and this guy, I'd say right at 47, eh, 47 and three quarters to be conservative with the space. So that's plenty of room to actually tie off. more

Also works great if you're hauling messy gear or sweaty sports equipment and you don't wanna bring that mess on the inside to where you have to clean out later. You leave it on the outside and then spread off the cargo carrier when you're done. Now it is gonna be a lightweight aluminum which is nice because sometimes with these cargo carriers, the bigger they get, the heavier they also are. more

Hi there Jeep owners. Today on your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be taking a look at, and test fitting etrailer's aluminum cargo carrier. This aluminum cargo carrier is extremely lightweight, but you don't sacrifice on its carrying capacity. It has 500 pounds of carrying capacity. You can see here, there's no problem with me in it. I can bounce up, and down and I'm getting pretty close to 200 pounds here, and that's not an issue with this.The biggest cargo carriers that we've got here at etrailer only go up to about 550 pounds. more

Today on our 2019 Jeep Cherokee, we're going to be taking a look at the CURT aluminum cargo carrier.Now one of the things that really sets this one apart from many of the others is that it's made from aluminum, and so it's going to be incredibly lightweight and easy to handle. And if you ever happen to get it muddy or dirty and you need to clean it, rinse off with the hose, you're not going to have to worry about it rusting either.A cargo carrier is going to help accomplish a couple of different things. One, either carry more cargo than we can fit on the inside of our Jeep ,or carry that cargo that we would normally have inside, bring it out here, and free up some space for passengers and pets. And in my opinion too, with the Jeep not being a super wide vehicle, this one's going to look really good in proportion to it.Now it's going to be 49 inches long, 22 and a half inches wide, and 4 inches deep. Now something to keep in mind whenever you're pulling into a tight parking spot or into your garage with a cargo carrier on, it is going to extend the overall length of our Cherokee. more

Our cargo carrier is going to allow us to do two things. It's either going to allow us to carry more gear than we usually can inside of our car, or it's going to allow us to take the gear that we keep inside, put it outside, and free up space for passengers or pets. Rola Dart Folding Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Today on our 2014 Jeep Cherokee we're going to be test fitting the 23 by 56 Rola Dart folding cargo carrier. This is designed for use in 2" hitches. Its part number is 59550. To begin our test fit we're going to slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. As we slide it in we'll want to keep an eye through the pinhole here in the side of the receiver tube to see when our threaded hole gets lined up with it. With those in line we'll thread in our anti-rattle bolt. more

Today on our 2014 Jeep Cherokee, were going to be test fitting the 17 x 46 Curt Cargo Carrier. Its designed for use 1 inch and 2 inch hitches. It offers a 500 pound weight capacity. Its part number is C18145. To begin our test fit were going to slide the shank of the carrier right into the receiver tube of our hitch. As we do this were going to line the threaded hole up with the pin hole and the tube of the hitch. more

Curt Folding Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video
Today, on our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we'll be test fitting the Curt 24 by 60 Folding Cargo Carrier, Part Number C18132.We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, lining up our pinholes, and securing Curt cargo carrier to our Grand Cherokee with a pin and clip.We'll now go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. With the platform folded up, we have about 11-1/2 inches of ground clearance to the rear of the carrier. Closest part of our carrier to the closest part of our Grand Cherokee is here at the rear bumper about 2-1/2 inches away. We've added about 13 inches to the overall length of the vehicle.We can then pull the pin at the base of the carrier to fold the platform down. With the platform folded down, we have about 6-1/2 inches of ground clearance to the rear of the carrier. Closest part of the carrier to the closest part of our Grand Cherokee is here at the bumper about 7 inches away. more

Curt Folding Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today on our 2012 Jeep Liberty, we'll be test fitting the Curt 24x60 Folding Cargo Carrier for 2-inch hitches, part number C18132. Now to begin our test fit, we'll slide the cargo carrier shank into the hitch using the included adapter for the 2-inch hitches. We'll then line up the hitch pin hole and install and tighten down the anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight, our cargo carrier is secured to the vehicle and we're ready to load it up. At this point, we'll go ahead and give you a few measurements. The cargo carrier will add an additional 26 inches of overall length to the vehicle. more
